Kiev [Ukraine], April 13: At least four people were injured in 88 Russian drone attacks overnight and early Saturday morning that targetted the Ukrainian capital Kiev, the country's second-largest city Kharkiv and other regions, authorities reported.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that of the total 88, it was able to shoot down 70 drones either via air defences or through electronic interference. Other regions hit were Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk.
Several warehouses, a residential building, and a sports field were hit, the Kiev military administration announced on Telegram. Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported three injuries in the capital, with one victim hospitalized and the other two treated as outpatients.
Several fires broke out in Kiev after the attack. Firefighters were only able to extinguish them by late morning. Falling drone debris also damaged warehouses and residential buildings in the Kiev region. In Kharkiv, drones struck a private facility, injuring one person, according to Military Governor Oleh Syniehubov. (DPA)
